First off, the Lost Pugs have been found.
Secondly, we’re all back in New Orleans, and we have a new fridge installed, a new compressor on the AC unit (yes, we need AC here right now). More importantly, we’re all back to our normal routine, and the pugs get LOTS of attention.
The only bad thing is that I had to do their nails last night, and they absolutely hate the dremel.

I just love this picture.
We had some puppies over for a while, and i took some pictures. Also, ivan stayed overnight with us on christmas eve, and we took him to my parents house on christmas day.
My sister absolutely fell in love with him. I’ll have more pictures of him on the website soon, along with some videos.

Here are more pugs from around the world. I dont have any pictures of gizmo and gadget like this, so Meimei and Miko get to bring everyone holiday pug cheer straight from Alberta, Canada.
Meimei is (the Fawn one) 1 1/2 years old, and Miko just turned 4 months old. They’re both very excited to see Santa this year, and they wanted to wish Gizmo, Gadget, and everyone who reads UrbanPug.com a very Merry Christmas!
Meimei’s favorite thing to chase is her baby sister Miko, and they do plenty of laps around the livingroom all day long! They also love to cuddle with each other, once they settle down. Miko loves to chew on anything squeeky – so you can also tell where she is hiding from Meimei with her toys!
Also, we’re going to get to see IVAN today, so hopefully i’ll have some fat-puppy-pics to post with my shiny new Canon Digital Elph SD550 (to replace the S200)
We’re finally back in New Orleans, but the house is doubly a mess from Christmas and from moving, so that’s why I havent been on the ball posting, but things should get back to a regular schedule soon.

Today’s update is another Pug from around the world. This pug is Moseby, and he’s three years old. The cat in the background is his best friend, Bella.
His favorite things to do are sleep, eat (anything, including paper) and run laps around the coffee table while playing with his stuffed duck.
I wonder if he does the infamous pug ‘bullet’, ‘scoot’, or ‘butt tuck’ maneuver. — If you have a pug, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
What else do people call this crazy pug behavior?

Yesterday, when we picked the dogs up from Pug City, G&G ran around furiously happy, but when we got them into the car, we noticed that Gizmo wasn’t opening his right eye very much, and he was being really sensitive about it.
So, we put some of gadget’s eyedrops in there, and he was a little better a couple hours later, but tricia still took him to the vet this morning — and he has a scratch on his cornea! poor little pug!
we have no idea how he got it, and he should be ok, but you really need to be careful about pug eyes.
he has to go back to the vet next tuesday, then we’ll see if he’s better or if he needs to have some minor surgery (noo!)

Tricia and I just went to Casey’s graduation in Austin, Texas — we stayed a few days, but it was all pretty hectic, and I didnt get a chance to get any pictures or post any here, so I’m going back to a picture taken last week.
This is more in the christmas pugs series.

Gadget can really turn on the cuteness when he wants to. To him, however, it’s all about the food.
He’s a cute, furry, walking, begging stomach.
If you don’t watch out, he’ll eat your finger.

First off, I’d like to say that I’m really digging Threadless and their $10 T-Shirt Sale. I’m picking up a few of these for christmas.
Second, we’re not sure what’s up with Gadget, exactly, but he LOVES my mother. Whenever she is around, he follows her around and even will cry if he knows she is in the house and he can’t get out of the room he’s in.
It’s funny, they’re kinda helpless in that they can’t open doors and such, but they KNOW the doors can be opened, so they sit there and look at the door, helpless, kinda whining until you open it for them or convince them through petting and/or food that they want to be in the room with you.
Most of the time, however, Gizmo and Gadget are totally content.
Anyway, I’m trying to get a good photo for a christmas postcard. This was one in a series of attempts — there was never enough light in the room to get a GOOD picture. We’ll see what happens tomorrow during the day.

If he were a character in Punch-Out, he’d be King Hippo, no, wait, he’d be Soda Popinski due to his obsession with consumables.
Gizmo would be… Don Flamenco. (Presumably the gayest of the punch-out characters. Not that we’re anti-gay though. Gizmo knows we love him)
Anyway, I got a call from the vet i took gadget to the other day about his eye… and “oh, by the way, how about some puppies!”
Gadget’s cuteness transcends.
So i gave her the number to Dulittle Pugs. Numbers for breeders are here.
If you go to Louisiana, you’ll see Dulittle pugs (the puppies in the picture) and Wind Valley (The breeder of G&G) — But Gizmo and Gadget’s Grandfather is from Dulittle, so you can get in on the G&G gene action.
I’m not sure of the status on any of Tricia’s parents’ puppies, but they might be on their way to homes soon too.
Anyway, if you’re in the market for a pug, and you’re near louisiana, i know htere are some ready soon to go to homes.

Ok, so we’re a little lazy. We had sonic for dinner. However, Gadget really doesn’t care, and he goes totally psycho-pug for pretty much any kind of food you’re eating and he’s not.
Tricia is finally starting to feel better after three weeks (and a third try on medication. the first two sets of antibiotics didn’t work. Now it’s brute-force time.) — She’s got her first final tomorrow, which is good (we’re almost ready to go back to new orleans) but bad (she’s been sick and not able to study like she should).
Anyway, I met Bubba yesterday out in Holden — he’s Gizmo and Gadget’s Grandfather (Their mother’s father), and i do think there’s a little bit of family resemblance there.
Also, I’ve had my trusty Canon PowerShot S200 Digital Elph for almost 3 years now, and i’m researching for a new camera. I think i’m going to choose a Canon SD450, SD500, or SD550, but the Casio Exilim looks really good too. Does anyone have any thoughts? (I also want to get a better camera to do better camera-to-flickr-to-blog postings, but i’m waiting a while longer for that)

We just got back from the vet — Gadget has a sty, but other than that, he’s healthy. The doctor gave him some eyedrops to help out, and we’re going to see how that works for now.
Also, it’s time for some teeth cleaning for both Gizmo and Gadget. We’re going to have to do that soon.
Anyway, hope everyone’s having a nice holiday.

BTW, I think that what would be better than a puggle is a “puggle-pug hybrid” — it would be MORE pug-like (and thus better)
